With a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Turin (Italy), my career has been rooted in engineering and innovation.
I began as a JVSRP Researcher at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where I contributed to designing and prototyping Origami-inspired robots for potential Moon and Mars missions. Additionally, I developed a cutting-edge Human-Machine Interface (HMI) device leveraging arrays of differential electromyography electrodes, with applications spanning aerospace, military, and prosthetics.
For three years, I served as CTO in the consumer electronics industry, where I honed a diverse set of technical and managerial skills, including R&D and IT management, business development, and process optimization.
I was at the forefront of Capacitive Wireless Power Transfer technology, applying it to consumer and industrial products and spearheading the development of the first free-positioning, wireless-powered television.
My work has led me to author five international patents covering Capacitively-Coupled Power/Data Transmission systems and innovative automotive infotainment architectures.
In Silicon Valley, I joined the world’s largest Open Innovation platform, fostering collaboration between startups and corporations. My time there also deepened my understanding of innovation through programs at UC Berkeley and Stanford University.
Currently, I serve as Director of the Motor Valley Accelerator. This initiative brings together financial institutions, government funds, and top tier Italian brands in mobility, automotive, and motorsport. Our role involves scouting of groundbreaking technologies globally on behalf of the innovaiton and R&D teams of our Corporate Partners and managing a €20M fund to support the most promising companies in the industry.
I am passionate about Formula 1 and motorsport, consumer electronics, nutrition, longevity, finance and space exploration.Understand the market and plan a roadmap. Get the funds to achieve it. Step from idea to effective implementation. Reach a sustainable business model.
Evaluate the technical aspects of potential investments or partnerships thanks to an analysis of the technology stack, readiness, team, market and potential risks to ensure that you make informed decisions.
Web-based technology and mobile hybrid apps are pervasive and more and more necessary in every project, being it B2B or B2C. Integrating hardware and software design needs to master both arts.
Prototyping is essential for transforming a concept into a functional item that can be tested. An in-house electronics laboratory and 3D printing capabilities are crucial for achieving quick results and iterating rapidly toward a finished product.
